A Neoclassic Modern Industrial Experience in Wine Tasting

Avant Tapas and Wine offers a unique culinary and wine tasting experience in wine country on California’s Central Coast in Santa Barbara County with so many wines available, the only place we could find room to serve them all was at the end of a cul-de-sac in a business park overlooking the Santa Ynez Mountains. Some might call our location industrial – the name of our street is Industrial Way, after all. But we prefer neoclassic modern industrial. Regardless of what you call us, if you’re in the mood to taste some wine, enjoy tantalizing food, and have a great time, Avant is the place you need to be.

Our sister and neighbor, the Terravant Wine Company, is a custom crush wine production facility that produces wines for more than a few dozen local wineries. We serve as the tasting room for those wineries, plus many more, for an experience we can describe as none other than Avantastic. We offer tours of the facility, winemaker visits, music nights, and other special events.

But you can’t have wine without food, and ours is incredible. Our classically trained culinary chef, Brooke Stockwell, serves up a new menu each week using locally grown and produced foods that pair most excellently with the wines from our collection.

We’re open Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11 to 9 and Friday and Saturday from 11 to 10 with live music from 6:30 to 9:30. Set your GPS (34.609217, -120.202706) and head on over to Buellton.
